When we first talked about launching Floral Therapy through the Pink Clover Foundation, one question came up again and again: how do we fund this work in a way that is steady, realistic, and aligned with what we already do?
We did not want to build the program around one-time donations or short-term fundraising campaigns. We also did not want to ask customers to take extra steps at checkout or make separate contributions. Instead, we wanted to see if something simple could work — something built directly into our everyday flower business.
That idea became the Floral Therapy Collection.
What the Floral Therapy Collection Is

The Floral Therapy Collection is a curated group of flower arrangements available for order at Pink Clover. These arrangements are part of our regular offering, created with the same care, quality, and pricing as the rest of our work.
The difference is simple:
3% of every sale from this collection goes directly to the Pink Clover Foundation and supports our Floral Therapy Program.
There are no add-ons, no pop-ups, and no price increases. Customers order flowers as they normally would, and a small portion of each sale is automatically set aside for the foundation.
From the start, this approach felt right to us. It keeps the process clear, honest, and easy to understand — both for us and for the people ordering flowers.
Why We Chose This Model
Floral Therapy is hands-on work. It requires flowers, tools, preparation time, and coordination with schools. To make the program reliable, we needed funding that could support real expenses, not just ideas.
At the same time, we wanted the foundation to stay connected to Pink Clover in a meaningful way. Flowers are what we know. They are what our customers already choose for important moments. Linking flower orders to program support felt natural, not forced.
The Floral Therapy Collection allows the foundation to grow alongside the business. As the collection grows, so does the program.
What Happened in Just 1.5 Months
We launched the Floral Therapy Collection quietly, without a major announcement or marketing push. We wanted to see how it would perform on its own, as part of our regular offering.
In about six weeks, the results were clear:
-
Total sales from the collection: $16,000
-
3% allocated to the Pink Clover Foundation: $480
This amount came entirely from everyday flower orders. There were no special donation drives, no reminders, and no separate fundraising campaigns attached to it.
For us, this was an important signal. Explain it simply, and people are willing to support something meaningful through their normal choices.
What This Actually Covers
It’s easy to list a number without context. What mattered more to us was understanding what that amount could really do.
Through our planning and budgeting, we know that $25 covers one student’s participation in one Floral Therapy session. This includes flowers, basic tools, preparation, and materials.
That means: $480 supports 19 full student sessions
This is not a symbolic number. It is practical, measurable, and directly tied to real students and real classes.
Most importantly, this amount was enough for us to confidently move forward with launching our pilot program.
Why This Was a Turning Point for Us
Before the collection launched, the Floral Therapy Program existed as a carefully planned project. We had the structure, the curriculum, and school interest — but like any program, it needed real funding to begin.
The Floral Therapy Collection showed us that our model works. Not in theory, but in practice.
In a short time, without pressure or promotion, it generated enough support to cover the first stage of the program. That changed how we look at growth. It showed us that the foundation does not need to see big numbers all at once to move forward. Steady, built-in support is enough to start.
How This Support Reaches Students

Every session supported by the Floral Therapy Collection helps create a calm, structured space for students. Floral Therapy focuses on simple, guided activities that support:
-
motor skills
-
focus and attention
-
emotional balance
-
confidence through completion
Students work step by step, using their hands, following clear instructions, and seeing a result they created themselves. The goal is not perfection. The goal is participation, comfort, and progress over time.
Knowing that these sessions are directly funded through flower orders makes the connection feel real. Flowers are not just a symbol of support — they are part of the process from start to finish.
What This Means for the Pilot Program
The funds raised through the Floral Therapy Collection allowed us to move forward with the pilot program without delays or uncertainty. We were able to confirm materials, scheduling, and basic logistics with confidence, knowing that the first set of sessions was fully supported. This made it possible to focus on planning the program properly instead of adjusting it around budget limits.
This early support gives us the stability needed to focus on what matters most: delivering well-structured sessions, observing how students engage with the activities, and making thoughtful improvements as the program develops. It also provides a clear foundation for future growth. As the Floral Therapy Collection continues, it supports the program in a steady and reliable way, allowing it to grow alongside our work.
Why This Approach Matters Long-Term
Many nonprofit programs struggle because funding is unpredictable. A strong start does not always lead to steady progress.
By tying the Floral Therapy Program to a product collection, we created a model that grows naturally. As long as people order flowers from the collection, the program receives support. No extra effort is required from customers, and no additional steps are needed on our side.
This approach allows us to plan responsibly, expand carefully, and stay consistent with our mission.
What Comes Next
A Simple Idea With Real Results
The Floral Therapy Collection started as a simple idea: connect everyday flower orders to meaningful work in schools. In just a month and a half, it proved that small percentages can create real change when they are consistent and transparent.
We are proud of this first result, not because of the number itself, but because of what it makes possible. It allowed us to launch our pilot program and begin working directly with students — which has always been the goal. This is only the beginning, and we are moving forward with confidence.
Your Support Matters!
