FLORAL THERAPY FOR KIDS: WE’RE OPENING DONATIONS TO GROW OUR IMPACT

FLORAL THERAPY FOR KIDS: WE’RE OPENING DONATIONS TO GROW OUR IMPACT

At Pink Clover, flowers have always meant more than beauty — they’re tools for healing, focus, and confidence. Over the past year, we’ve been quietly developing our Floral Therapy for Kids program, introducing floral design classes to children with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

We began with one school, covering every expense — flowers, materials, instructors, transportation — from our own pocket. The results have been incredible: calmer classrooms, brighter moods, and students proudly creating something of their own.

But now, eight more schools are waiting for their chance to join. That’s why, starting today, we’ve opened public donations to keep the program growing.

OUR MISSION: BRINGING CALM THROUGH CREATIVITY

The Floral Therapy for Kids program was born from a simple belief — that working with flowers can bring emotional balance, focus, and calm to children in a world that’s constantly rushing and digital.
This project gives every child, regardless of background or ability, a peaceful, hands-on way to express feelings they can’t always put into words.

Each class is built around core developmental goals:

  • Working with colors and textures to reduce stress. Students explore how different hues, shapes, and natural materials can influence mood and help restore emotional harmony.

  • Learning patience and focus. Step-by-step floral arranging encourages attention to detail, mindful movement, and following a creative process from start to finish.

  • Building teamwork and communication. Group design projects inspire cooperation, listening, and confidence in sharing ideas.

  • Finding emotional release through creation, not screens. Instead of technology, children reconnect with nature, using flowers as a safe outlet for emotion and imagination.

EIGHT WEEKS OF GROWTH AND DISCOVERY

Each program runs for eight weeks, following a structured plan that gradually develops both creative and emotional skills. The curriculum starts with the basics of flower care and color theory, then moves into composition, balance, and storytelling through design.

Throughout the eight weeks, students are encouraged to reflect on what they feel before and after each class — building emotional awareness while mastering the art of floral arrangement. By the end of every cycle, they’ve not only learned how to create something beautiful, but also how to center themselves in the process.

TRACKING REAL IMPACT

Pink Clover Foundation is committed to showing that floral therapy isn’t just beautiful — it’s effective.
We’re developing a results-based tracking system to measure changes in focus, mood, and classroom engagement before and after participation. Educators and school psychologists help collect this feedback, allowing us to identify which activities make the strongest impact.

Our long-term goal is to build scientific evidence for the emotional and cognitive benefits of floral therapy — and to make it a recognized tool in education and mental health programs.

To achieve this, students from UCLA and USC will collaborate with us on upcoming research, helping design and analyze the data from each school. Together, we’ll study how floral design influences emotional regulation, stress levels, and confidence among children with IEPs and other learning needs.

We’ll also include direct feedback from students and teachers after every course. Their voices will shape how the program evolves — ensuring it remains practical, inclusive, and rooted in real classroom experiences.

By supporting this program, you help us prove that flowers can do more than decorate — they can heal, inspire, and teach. The outcomes we measure today will help shape tomorrow’s education and therapy models across California.

Every donation plants the seed for real, measurable change — and every flower arranged by a child becomes part of that story.

HOW DONATIONS ARE USED

Every dollar donated goes directly toward making floral therapy accessible to more children. We handle no third-party administrative overhead — funds are fully directed to the program and participating schools.

Here’s how your contribution helps in real, tangible ways:

Materials and Tools

Each class requires flowers, greenery, scissors, aprons, vases, and safe child-sized supplies. Donations cover these essentials so no school or student ever has to pay to participate.

Instructors and Program Leaders

Our foundation funds trained florists and creative instructors who guide children through every session, focusing not only on technique but also on mindfulness and communication. Many are local floral designers who volunteer their time or receive small stipends funded entirely through donations.

School Partnerships and Logistics

Floral therapy programs require coordination — transporting fresh flowers weekly, preparing kits for each student, and ensuring proper setup in classrooms. Donations help us manage these operations smoothly so teachers can focus on students, not logistics.

Research and Reporting

To build long-term credibility for floral therapy, we invest in data collection and analysis in collaboration with university students and education specialists. Funds support surveys, evaluation materials, and professional oversight to ensure accuracy and transparency in every report.

🫶 Foundation Growth

Part of the donations sustain the Pink Clover Foundation itself — allowing us to expand to new schools, create standardized lesson plans, and host public community classes.

We’ve also launched a Floral Therapy Collection, where a portion of every sale automatically goes into the foundation’s account. So even if you’re purchasing flowers as a gift, you’re helping another classroom bloom.

TRANSPARENCY & ACCOUNTABILITY

Trust is the core of our work. After every 8-week course, we’ll release a detailed public report that includes:

  • How many children and schools participated.

  • What activities were completed and what progress was observed.

  • Key data points showing focus, mood, and social skill improvements.

  • Direct quotes and reflections from students and teachers (shared with permission).

  • Financial breakdowns of where donations were allocated.

Reports will be published on our Pink Clover Foundation page and shared on Instagram so that every supporter can see real results — not just photos.

Our goal is to build full transparency and inspire confidence in donors who believe in education through empathy and nature.

WHAT’S NEXT

The next stage of our journey begins in January 2026, when eight additional schools are scheduled to join the program. Each new group will follow the 8-week structure with live reporting and professional tracking.

We’re also developing a comprehensive teaching manual to help educators and therapists integrate floral therapy into existing classroom routines. This manual will be available for free to all participating schools and educators later in 2026.

Looking ahead, we aim to:

  • Reach at least 1,000 children across Los Angeles County by the end of next school year.

  • Partner with community centers and foster programs to extend classes beyond schools.

  • Organize an annual Floral Therapy Exhibition, where students can display their creations and share what the experience meant to them.

With every donation, we move closer to a future where creativity and mental wellness are part of every child’s education.

JOIN THE MOVEMENT

You can help right now by:

  1. Donating directly to the Pink Clover Foundation

  2. Purchasing from the Floral Therapy Collection, where every order contributes to our school fund.

  3. Spreading awareness — share our story with friends, educators, and local media.

  4. Following our journey on Instagram to see behind-the-scenes updates from the classrooms.

We also invite journalists, educators, and mental health advocates to contact foundation@pinkcloverla.com if they’d like to collaborate, feature the story, or join our community studies.

Together, we can turn this small Los Angeles project into a model for schools nationwide.

FAQ

Q: How long does each course last?
A: Every course runs for eight weeks, combining creative design and emotional reflection. We evaluate results at the end of each term and share updates with the public.

A: Yes. Starting in 2026, UCLA and USC students from psychology and education departments will help conduct research on the program’s effectiveness.

Q: What’s the long-term goal of Floral Therapy for Kids?
A: To make floral therapy a recognized, evidence-based practice in schools across California — and eventually, across the U.S. We want to prove that creativity and nature can strengthen focus, emotional regulation, and self-esteem in measurable ways.

CONCLUSION

Flowers speak a universal language — one of calm, connection, and care. Through the Floral Therapy for Kids program, we’re not just teaching art; we’re nurturing emotional growth, resilience, and creativity.

With your help, we can keep this work alive and expand it to the many classrooms still waiting. Donate, share, or simply tell others about what we’re building — because real change starts when compassion meets action.

🌿 Let’s grow something beautiful together.
